Edward "Muskogee" Hogan
was born in Muskogee,
Oklahoma and later became a resident of Kansas City, Kansas where he
graduated from Sumner High School. He is an Adjunct Graduate Professor
with the Department of Art & Art History at the University of
Missouri-Kansas City, he is also a member of the Kansas Civic Arts
Council, the Kansas City Artists Coalition and the Kansas City
Minority Artists Association.
Publications where his art has been featured include the Kansas City Star,
St. Louis
Post Dispatch, Forum Magazine, Pitch Weekly, Connections, University News,
and
Kansas City Kansan.
Mr. Hogan has received numerous grant awards for art. His work has been
displayed in a number of noted solo exhibitions throughout the U. S., as
well as other public exhibitions, and is in a variety of private collections
