Sherry Whetstone-McCall is a native of Oklahoma.  Becoming a fiber artist was planted in her head while working in an Africa art shop in Furth, Germany.  Her first art piece created in 1993, titled "Rhythm In My Soul, The Dancer" gained her international recognition when it was selected for the U.S. Embassy in Malawi, Africa.  Ms. McCall's work has been featured in five quilting books.  Her work can be found in several private collections as well as various corporations such as Kaiser-Permanente; Mark Twain Bank; Indian Trails Bus Lines, Inc; Women's Visions Corporations; Bruce R. Watkins Cultural Heritage Center and Banks Associates Landscape.  She continues to exhibit her work in galleries and museums nationwide.  Ms. McCall enjoys conduction workshops and giving presentations about her work.
